The Daylight Duster is Coming In Fast!
When we started Daylight 10 years ago, the quest was to build the world’s finest elite level BMX Flying Machine. This time out, we’re looking to do it again — but now, instead of focusing on the pro-sized bikes, we’ve aimed our sights on making the raddest pint-sized Daylights ever. We don’t just build “kid bikes”; we build world-class race machines for the next generation. And this Summer, those crazy BMX kids won’t be able to keep their hands and butts off of them!
Low, Tight, and Ready for Flight
Like our speedy “paisano” on the run, the all-new Duster is low and tight for today’s narrower crank setups. We engineered the Duster with a tighter Q-factor so our smallest riders aren’t “duck-walking” their pedals, but driving straight, efficient power into the dirt. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum, the Duster delivers that explosive “Snap” out of the gate while staying agile.
It comes fully equipped with precision V-brake mounts, traditional dropouts boasting a full inch of adjustment, and a recessed slot with security washers to keep your young racer’s back wheel locked safely in place. And for those riders looking to evolve? There will be an option for an integrated disc brake mount!
Sun-Washed Style & Factory Precision
At Daylight, it’s all about functional art. The Duster brings our latest tech in 15 powder-coated color-ways that recall sun-washed summer days at your local track. Hand-finished right here in Southern California, every frame is a masterpiece designed for the factory pits. It even features the rear-triangle clearance needed to accommodate today’s wider high-profile carbon rims and up to 1-3/8″ tires.

- Expert XL: 20.25″ Top Tube (1.11 Kg / 2.45 lbs)
- These listed weights are unpainted with dropouts and brake routing guides.
